Cafe Solstice

January 9th, 2009 by Oliver

Thanks to everyone who came out for our first show of 2009! We realized as we were getting ready to load in to the show that this was the 24th time we’ve played at Cafe Solstice. A proud tradition, I say. Last night we got to debut two new songs, ‘Man in the Moon’ and ‘For Always’, both of which we are very excited about. Hope you all had as much fun as we did! See you next month at our birthday party in Columbia City.

Loved the show! Missed the beatboxing though. Thought the new songs were fantastic, especially loved ‘For Always.’ Can’t wait for your birthday show! Was wandering how you got your name (The Senate?)
love your ballerina friends!

The new songs are fantastic! (I want the lyrics!) and I was so ridiculously happy to hear ‘The Stranger’ again; it’s my favorite. Wonderful show. Worth waiting four Senate-deprived months in Vermont to see, though now four more lie ahead. :( there’s nothing like Senate-concert adrenaline, you know. If you can figure out a way to bottle it, you’d all make millions.
