Greetings, friends! We the Senate have been enjoying a relaxed spring since our Fourth Anniversary Extravaganza but summer’s just around the corner and it’s time for a blowout! To celebrate the beginning of summer, we’ll be throwing down a FULL SCALE BASH on May 22nd at the Triple Door! For those of you who have never been, the Triple Door is Seattle’s premiere concert venue, a swanky club with fantastic food, killer staff and the best sound and light show in town. We have headlined this beautiful room twice before, and each time we have sold the place out with a one-time-only lineup of amazing guest artists, brand-new Senate songs and enough acoustic riffage to melt your face off!
May 22nd will be no exception. Seriously, we’ll be handing out moist towlettes for you to wipe your face off the table after the show.
New guest artists, new songs and a few surprises lie in store for this show, and we’ll even throw in a few of your favorites for good measure. The only way this show could be any more awesome is if John Lennon descended from the rafters on a flaming pie and gave us high-fives during curtain call! Whenever we throw a big show like this, the Powers That Be try to get us to jack up the ticket price, but we won’t budge. Our audience has grown as we have evolved, but tickets for this Triple Door show will still only be fifteen dollars, just like it’s always been. The “real” Senate might try to screw you, but we wish only to tickle your ears until you giggle like a happy baby. The Triple Door will charge you an extra three bucks if you buy your tickets day-of-show, so get your tickets in advance and save a little beer money, eh?
